Master Wright has been practicing martial arts for a long time. He started his formal martial arts training at an early age, learning Tang Soo Do in the late 1980's. In 1995, Master Wright found a school in Burton, MI teaching a variation of Hapkido. Excited to see all that this art had to offer, he started his journey. He enjoyed learning martial arts so much that it lead him to travel all over the world to study and practice to this day. In 2020, he began to study Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from the Gracie Family. Having gone though extensive instructor training, he has achieved the honor of making the Pivot Point Martial Arts Center in Burton an official Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Certified Training Center®.
Master Wright is a follower of Jesus. His faith influences all that he does and it is not uncommon to see him praying with a student who is in need.
